Plus, if we’re serious about our writing, we probably aren’t going to just want to post everything to Medium and only to Medium. But like any app, it has it’s limitations. Of course, as Medium writers, we also have to deal with Medium’s draft editor, which is a perfectly fine, distraction-free editor and is one of the things we love so much about Medium in the first place. I’ve tried so many different writing apps over the years, that I’m not even sure which is the best one for my own particular writing needs, so I thought now it was about time to figure it out.

If it’s a stylish - preferably minimalist - writing app that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg, odds are I’ve got it. My specific addiction is writing apps for Mac and iOS.
